The Blue Room in Haroldston House, has been created out of one of the main, ground floor reception rooms of the Georgian, merchant's house; the former butler's pantry is now a kitchenette.  It is very compact (photos are taken with a wide-angle lens!) at just 28 sq.m.

With its thick stone walls and 12-pane Georgian window with original shutters, the room is cool and calming in summer, and cosy and warm in winter - especially with the log burner on.

The Blue Room is accessed off the hallway of the the main house into a small lobby, off which is a small kitchenette with hob, combination microwave and fridge (with ice-box). A door off the lobby leads to a compact, tiled wetroom with shower.

A set of double doors opens from the kitchenette on to the studio space.  It has a European king-size bed (5’3"/1.6m wide) with a medium-firm, memory-foam mattress; easy chairs around a coffee table; and a dining table. This room also has a TV, Wi-Fi, hair dryer, central heating and a log burner.

Egyptian cotton bed linen and bath towels are supplied, as well as waffle bathrobes and slippers. There are tea and hand towels in the kitchenette, along with dishcloths and washing-up liquid. There is free use of the washing machine and dryer (including washing detergent) down a flight of steep, stone steps from the main hallway. Wi-Fi, electricity, central heating and wood for the log burner are also included in the price.

Please note that the garden space is for the use of Stable Studio guests only.
